Who qualifies

- Healthy pets only. No surgery for pets with seizures, diabetes, previous C-sections or abdominal surgeries, signs of congestive heart failure, moderate to advanced respiratory or heart disease, or bloody diarrhea. The linked Declined and High Risk list (PDF, April 2025) adds active cough, severe obesity and some medications, and asks flat-faced breeds and pets over 8 to sign a high-risk consent.

Credited: it goes toward your total. Not refundable, the page says. The page says: Price list: "$25 non-refundable deposit is required for all surgery appointments"; clinic page: "If the appointment is kept, the deposit may be applied toward services or refunded."
- How to book: Online, by phone and walk-in.
- Online through the clinic page's Schedule Appointment button (ClinicHQ), or call 713-343-1700, choose Pasadena and leave a voicemail for a call back within 24 to 48 hours.
- Up to 5 same-day walk-in spaces a day are shared with feral cats (ferals first), not guaranteed; arrive by 8:00 AM.
- No-shows forfeit the deposit and must prepay in full; cancel by email by 7:00 AM the day before to avoid the penalty.
- The price list calls the deposit non-refundable; the clinic page says it may be applied or refunded when the appointment is kept.
